Cookie Dough Cake Bars
Ever thought of brownie coming in different flavours? Well with this recipe, now they do! It takes 9 ingredients, no oven and it’s super easy to make for a nice sweet treat after dinner.
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips
How to make:
1. Pour your melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar into a bowl and mix thoroughly until smooth
2. Once the mixing process is done, crack in your 2 eggs (the whites and the yolks) into the same bowl and repeat the mixing
3. Add your vanilla extract, baking powder, salt and flour and mix until there are no more clumps
4. Pour in only a 1/2 cup of your chocolate chips (leave the rest for the end) and mix slightly
5. Put your batter into a corning wear dish and pop it in the microwave 1 minute at a time for 5 minutes or until the batter looks and feels like cake
6. Take out your cake and let it cool down while you melt the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and melt them down to pour on top of your cake
7. Let it sit for 45 minutes on your counter and 15 minutes in your fridge, take it out cut up into bars and enjoy!
